Only place I go to shoot. Staff is great and always helpful. Place is always clean. The range goes up to 20+ yards. Took my little sister out to shoot and she had a blast! I recommend this place if you’re look for a place to shoot!
Took my very first pistol class there. The staff are very experienced and friendly. I highly recommend this place to those who're looking to purchase firearms or just have a fun day shooting at the range.
Great clean place for indoor shooting. I have been there number of times also purchased an AR recently from them. . Staff is very friendly. They only charge $ 20 /lane. They also have a good selection of rental weapons including off roaster guns.
They also sell guns and their prices are much better then big box stores.
So I'm in town for a couple of days. I got off work a little early and wanted to go shoot. I called and asked about renting a lane and running a pistol with a dot. We talked about prices and they charge per person and per gun. I asked how much 9mm was and said I would be down in 20 minutes. Come to the counter to rent all the gear and buy ammo and was told I can't rent anything unless I have a friend with me or I bring in a firearm. I asked why would I bring in my own firearm to rent your guns, I would just use mine that is dumb. They said suicide prevention. I asked if this is a law and they said no it's a policy. I told them there policy makes no sense. I'm a Range officer for 3 different ranges and I have 2 CCW and LTC. Anyways that's the last time I step into that woke gun store.
My favorite in so many ways.
Staff: Dante was great in today's trip to the range. They have always been extremely helpful, friendly, informative, and concerned for my needs. Have always done their best to lead me in the right direction.
Products: Great variety of handguns, rifles, and shotguns.
Range: Sometimes it's a little crowded and may have to wait for a lane, but it's no wonder.
This is the best place in Sacramento.
I'm grateful for this place and its people.
I will return for years to come.

Most ranges make you feel like you're always doing something wrong and scold you like a child. This range allowed me to teach my cousin how to safely operate her first firearm. Range masters were great! Excellent, helpful staff, great store with good inventory. Highly recommended
Michelle did an amazing job teaching users how to properly operate various firearms in the course she instructed. She helped me tune in my skills using a revolver. All of the staff were friendly and willing to help. Definitely coming back.
First time here, but employees were nice and knowledgeable. Glad they take things seriously and take the time to help you. They offer alot of different services, but the parking was packed full. Will definitely come back.

Great place. Good selection of Handguns and Rifles. Employees have always been friendly and very helpful. Nice indoor range. There gun classes are great for beginners or to just refresh your skills if it's been awhile. Plan to go through their CCW class. Would give them 5 Stars if they were open 7 days a week ( range usage ). I definitely recommend The Gun Range. It's for everyone, beginners to advanced. Check them out, you won't be disappointed! Photo below is from my second class for refresher after 21 years of being Idol.
Great gun store and range. Can get busy but you'll usually be able to find a lane open on weekdays. Great prices on guns compared to everything else in the area. Their gunsmith is top notch. Very friendly and helpful staff.
